Alexandra Uy-Tioco, President

Alexandra, is a sophomore studying Physics and Materials Science as part of the VIPER program. She has been debating for nearly eight years, and was on the Hong Kong national team in 2022 and 2023. She’s now retired from debating but still shows up to APDA tournaments. Outside of debate, she really enjoys listening to music and playing the guitar.

Jason Tu, VP of Training

Jason is a sophomore from Madison, Mississippi studying Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences. In high school, he primarily competed in Public Forum, Policy Debate, and speech. However, he strongly prefers BP and APDA to those formats. Outside of debate, Jason enjoys cooking, playing the cello, and judging at high school debate tournaments in Philadelphia. 

Tori Ling, VP of Internal

Tori is a sophomore from Shanghai, China studying Economics and Fine Arts. In high school, she was on the Chinese national team and debated Public Forum, British Parlimentary and World Schools. Outside of PDS, she is involved in Wharton Investment Trading Group, Wharton Women and Penn Ice Hockey. In her free time, Tori enjoys photography, going out with friends and visiting cat cafes.

Caylee Pan, VP of Finance

Caylee is a freshman from Toronto, Canada, intending to concentrate in Finance and Accounting with a minor in Statistics. She has been competitively debating for 6 years in British / Canadian Parlimentary, and represented Canada in World Schools 2024. Aside form debate, she enjoys watching thriller movies, taking long walks, shopping at Trader Joe’s, and beating other PDS members at Clash Royale.

Clement Tsao, VP of Novice Training

Clement is a freshman in the College studying International Relations and Mathematics. Raised in Shanghai, China, he was a member of the Chinese National Debate Team for the WSDC in 2023 and 2024. Although he has a strong preference for British Parliamentary debate, he's gradually warming up to the APDA format. On the rare weekends where Clement isn’t attending a tournament, he is an avid reader, loves cooking, and watching new films.

Clarence Guo, VP of External

Clarence is a freshman in the College majoring in Economics with an 89% chance of switching to PPE. He is from Seattle, Washington. After debating at a few BP tournaments, his Public Forum brain couldn’t comprehend the 4-team format so now he exclusively goes to GBMs and socials. Outside of BP, he loves debating APDA, thrifting, and watching movies.

Musab Chummun, VP of Strategic Initiative

Musab is a sophomore in the College studying PPE. He is from Seattle, WA where he competed in Public Forum throughout high school (and sporadically did speech events). Outside of debate, he enjoys exploring food places, chess, and formula 1 racing (ferrari *cry face*). 

Siilen Sergelen, VP of Administration

Siilen is a freshman from Mongolia studying Law and Society. She debated for the Mongolian national team at WSDC 2022 and 2023 and has shifted to judging in college. She loves to binge shows and anime, draw, and find beautiful scenery. She also loves Minecraft, horror movies, and “Supernatural”.
